There is no product that can actually eliminate the need to cycle a tank. Many of the products that claim to do so can help start and speed up the cycling, but none can actually eliminate it. Many fish stores sell these products because they do seem to work with hardy fish that can tolerate a little ammonia poisoning, allowing them to sell to the impatient new aquarist.
