I understand seahorses like slower water flow than most reef aquariums , but how slow?
The general rule of thumb with horses is your water circulation should be 2-4X your tank capacity. For example, if you had a 20-gallon tank, your circulation should be roughly 40-80 gph. With larger tanks I prefer to 'up' the flow a bit to more effectively move the larger volume of water.
